What I love most about photographing weddings is capturing those in-between moments. A couple's spontaneous kiss. A private laugh shared between a bride and her grandmother. The groom before his first look of the bride. I find those intimate moments to be the ones that give great purpose and meaning to my work. My personal approach helps put people at ease, leading to more authentic, natural photographs.

After photographing weddings for a few years, several of my clients started having children and asked me to photograph their young families. I always loved the energy of kids so it became another exciting avenue for my work. Much like my approach to weddings, I prefer to capture the carefree, whimsical nature of childhood. Siblings running together. A child's first steps. Parents throwing their little ones up in the air. As a mother of two boys, I know how fast in all goes by. I'm there to make sure you don't forget it.

I have a BA in photography from Bard College and my work has appeared in The Knot, Martha Stewart Weddings, Brooklyn Bride, PDN, Rock and Roll Bride and Style Me Pretty.

Oh, and besides photography, I love dogs, gardening, crossfit and macarons. My husband and two sons are pretty awesome too.
